Canada Launches New Pathways for Rural and Francophone Communities

With the success of the previous pilot program, the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP), the IRCC has announced that they will be launching two new pilot programs: the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP).
  • The Rural Community Immigration Pilot helps rural communities access programs designed to tackle labour shortages and assist local businesses in finding the workers they need.
  • The Francophone Community Immigration Pilot aims to boost the number of French-speaking newcomers settling in Francophone minority communities outside of Quebec.
